The Business of Ageing - Turning Silver into Gold*

Ireland’s first Silver Market Conference was attended by over 300 people who came to hear from leading specialists, national policy makers, potential investors and internationally renowned experts on business opportunities in an ageing world.

An Taoiseach Brian Cowen said the
shifting demographic patterns were presenting all countries with challenges which required courage and imagination to tackle. He said the needs of enterprise and the needs of social solidarity were not mutually exclusive and that Ireland had the potential to become a centre of excellence in the “silver market”.

Presentations from a number of speakers are now available to download from here and in the coming weeks a number of new features will be added to this site, including stats, news and information on the over 50’s market in Ireland and abroad.

*The Business of Ageing Partnership is a not-for-profit organization, so their ambition is solely to produce a compelling conference that will give you the answers on how to add value to your business by including the ever growing 50+ market in your strategy.
